Asus is expected to come out with another netbook this coming January 6 with theAsus Eee PC1001P. This netbook will make use of the latest Pine Trail technology spearheaded by the stored Atom N450 processor inside a 10.1” netbook.
Among the features of this latest notebook include a 160GB HDD, 1GB of RAM and pre-installed Windows XP. It will weigh only 1.1 kgs. including the battery. The Asus Eee PC1001P will be available for pre-order at Amazon Germany at €267.70 or about $384. It will be available in black or white.
