Swiss Mini Gun is the World’s Smallest Gun

Have you heard of the Swiss Mini Gun? It is the world’s smallest working gun that does not exceed 5.5 cm in length. It can shoot 2.34mm caliber rim fire ammunition making this the smallest rim fire ammunition in the world. If you throught that this pistol is only for show, then lemme tell you that this double action revolver has all the features found on a real size gun. It can fire real bullets at 270 mph which can be deadly in close shooting range. The gun weighs only 19.8 grams or 0.7 oz and fires live and blank ammunition.

The revolver is now sold as a collector’s item and you can acquire a stainless steel one for only £3,000 and if you are one of those for whom money is a secondary matter, you can customize it with 18 carat gold and made-to-order diamond studs with price of upto £30,000. Anyway, if you buy the gun at the later option, then you may be the subject of robbery for acquiring the gun rather than preventing it!

At CES 2010, there were a lot of tablets on display, and everyone is saying that this is the year of the tablet. Unfortunately, there is one tablet that won’t be made, at least for now.

Apparently, there was a rumor that HTC was working with Google to make a Chrome OS tablet. However, the marketing director says no, and that they are concentrating on making Android-powered smartphones instead.

I suppose I should say “too bad”, but considering the amount of tablets on the market, I don’t think we’ll notice one missing.

iPhone to get Bing as default search engine?

File this under “totally ridiculous rumors”: Apple is apparently considering using Microsoft’s Bing search engine as the default search engine on the iPhone, instead of the preferred (and far better) Google search engine. If this is true, it would not only be outrageous not to use Google, but it would be a serious blow to the Apple Google relationship. After that, they might as well change maps to another inferior competitor, like MapQuest.
