Whether it is for business or pleasure, these new Sony VIAO S and Y Series notebooks should be something worthy to check out. Made for the people on the move, the Sony VAIO S Series should be a great notebook to turn to. It runs on energy-efficient Intel Core i5-520M 2.4GHz with Intel Turbo Boost Technology. It is backed by a 13.3” wide display, 4GB of DDR3 RAM, 500GB HDD and NVIDIA GeForce 310M graphics with 512MB GDDR3 VRAM. It weighs only 2kg including the battery.
The Sony VAIO Y Series also boasts of the same 13.3” wide display, an Intel Core 2 Duo processor, 4GB DDR3 SDRAM, 320GB HDD and Mobile Intel Graphics. It is lighter (1.8kg) compared to the Sony VAIO S Series notebooks. Both notebooks will be available by the end of January.
