It would appear that AT&T really will be carrying the Motorola Backflip, it will be the first phone from AT&T that carries Android. Actually, it will be one of five Android devices that they will carry in the first half of 2010.
The Backflip can open up like a book, and a trackpad behind the screen allows the user to navigate through menus. In addition to the QWERTY, it has Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, 3G, GPS, full HTML browser, 3.5mm headphone jack, and 5-megapixel camera.
It will be available in March 7 for $99.99 with a two-year contract and after a $100 mail-in rebate. It will start with Android 1.5 and will soon be upgradeable to version 2.1.
