I believe that this image comes from MWC, but it probably belongs in the early nineties. This is the AIS ultra-rugged PDA, and it looks like it is ready to be send out into battle.
It has Windows Mobile 6.1, with a QVGA screen of 240 x 320 resolution. It also sports WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, and 3G connectivity.
No word on a price as yet, but this is clearly one of those times that you sacrifice aesthetics for durability.
