
iSuppli, the company that often tears apart gadgets and figures out just how much they cost to make, recently took on the Motorola Droid, and it turns out that in fact, it costs $187.75 to manufacture and assemble one. That’s compared to the iPhone 3GS, which costs $178.96 and the Google Nexus One, which costs $174.15. The Plam Pre comes in at fourth, with just $138 in manufacturing costs.
